Malaysiakini: So, I'm supposed to be scared?

Okay, now I have a small issue to blog about. Well, I could blog about UMNO elections and the next DPM and so on but you know, every Tom, Dick and Harry is blogging about it so I won't waste my breath ranting and raving about something that is a foregone conclusion. I rather save the oxygen and rant and rave about something else.

Now, it seems there has been a tiny bit of ruckus about a video shown to kids in school. It has left the kids crying, traumatized and to sum it all up, scared shitless. What is this scary video? (No, it's not about Tun Dr M coming back to power)

It's all about a corpse and the supposed 'what would happen if you don't pray'. I won't waste my breath and go into the details as 3/4 of the nation already knows what it's all about. So here is take on it.

I assume the person (read: The idiot who calls himself the teacher) who showed the video to the kids has a low IQ. I think a single cell organism would show more common sense than this person. It's either that or he was somehow born brain damaged. How else could you explain the stupid and downright dumb act of showing a video like that to a bunch of kids who probably were so traumatized? I mean he has to be a total imbecile for acting like, well, an imbecilic kid.

Someone grab this guy and stuff HIM down a grave, preferably sealing him beneath several tons of reinforced concrete and steel!

Seriously, if this is the level of teaching in our education, then we have a serious problem at hand! This is not teaching by imparting knowledge but this is teaching by provoking fear and using intimidation. I'm not saying our kids are bunch of wussies but for crying out loud, they are a just bunch of kids!

There is a saying, spare the rod, spoil the child but this is taking things too far. This is... psychological warfare! This is brainwashing.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

What are they intending to achieve by showing the video? These kids are so easily affected (since they are just kids), the teacher knows that and he preys on that naivety and weakness to achieve his twisted and sick, deranged purpose. Resorting to fear and intimidation is the hallmark of bullies and boy oh boy, do I hate bullies! This person is supposed to be a teacher, not an oversized bully with a projector and a TV remote in one hand. Teachers are supposed to teach, not bully. If teachers areresorting to bullying, then what does it say about our education system and schools?

I'll tell you what it says. It says that what we have suspected all the while is true. And that is, our education system has gone so far downhill, Samy Vellu would break his arthritic back bending over trying to see how low it's gone.

Who should be blamed? The blame game is easy enough. He did it! He did it! However, common sense dictates we find out how this was allowed in the first place. (And also how did a low intellect specimen of humanity managed to pass and become a teacher)

What should be done now? Well, as usual, the government is doing damage control, probably wil do some 'investigation' and when everyone is caught up in the fever pitch of the battle for DPM, they will probably shred the file and give the teacher a nice bonus(maybe a jamuan too)...

Guess who's back!

I'm back! Apologies for the delay in my posting, I was away for quite some time. Anyhow, now that I am back, lets go down to business.

Najib wins a landslide vote to become UMNO President. This is something that Najib and UMNO should be proud of , since it shows UMNO solidarity but (there's always a but in everything) I feel that this just a mere veneer of gloss on a cracking surface. You see, right now, Najib is in a precarious situation. Yes, he won the Presidency but he won't be Prime Minister until March. Which gives time to everyone who wants his head on a pike. Right now, opponents and opportunists are unsheathing their swords, waiting for the right time to strike the exposed and vulnerable Najib.

This is a critical time for Najib. If he holds on and survives until March, then I predict he'll stay in power for the next 20 years, like dear old Tun Dr.M. If he slips up in the next few months, then it's goodbye prime ministership, goodbye power. Look at the amount of people 'volunteering' to contest posts in UMNO. Yes, this can be construed as democracy in example but this also shows the number of power hungry, position eyeing members in UMNO, these are the 'allies' Najib should be careful with. In my personal opinion, I think that the moment Najib makes one slip, these shining examples of democracy would be waiting to pounce for power and position.

Najib is now assailed left, right and centre. From Anwar, PKR, PAS, DAP, HINDRAF, to even UMNO and BN, everyone is waiting for his scalp. Dissatisfaction is high and now that Razak Baginda has gotten away scot free, it has poured fuel on the fire. Add that to Altantuya allegations, Scorpene allegations, Eurocopter allegations, and the whole laundry list of allegations and accusations, Najib is facing quite a predicament.

It is now a critical period in Malaysia. The next few months, whether Najib rises or falls, determines the outcome for Malaysia and Malaysian in whole. Anwar is playing it cool, he knows the economy is plummeting and he does not wish to inherit a country in economic chaos, lest he be blamed for it too.

So it all boils down to the next few months.

My conclusion is.... fire is still fire.

Malaysiakini: Shah Rukh announces UMNO presidency push

I never cease to be amazed at the superb stupidity of Malaysians. Again, there is news to which I shake my head to, the only thing I can do besides rolling on the floor laughing.

It seems Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is being conferred a Datukship by the Melaka Government. Now, quite why Indian citizen Khan is being conferred a datukship is beyond me and excluding the fact the Shah Rukh would never be addressed as Datuk Shah Rukh in India or any part of the world except jolly old Malaysia, I am stunned by the sheer stupidity of the person responsible for this superbly stupid act.

What has Shah Rukh has done for Malaysia? Has he gone on a worldwide tour, shaking his hips and singing 'Malaysia truly Asia'? I'll rephrase that. What has King Khan contributed to Malaysia to warrant a Datukship? Lee Chong Wei got one because he won a silver medal in the Olympics for Malaysia. Nicol David won one for her impressive reign in squash. I can go on and on and on and on but it continues to elude me where Shah Rukh deserves his Datukship. I'm not a politician. I'm a mere human. The workings of a politician's mind is beyond the comprehension of my mere mortal mind.

I hear people defending, saying Shah Rukh promoted Melaka in his movie, citing he shot One Two ka Four in A Famosa Resort, Melaka in 2001. Dude, get a life. That was 7 years ago and a single movie. Shah Rukh himself probably has forgotten he shot a movie here. I bet if you give Shah Rukh a map, he wouldn't be able to point out where Malaysia is, much less Melaka. No offence to King Khan but the fact is Bollywood and Shah Rukh churn out so many movies.

Shah Rukh is an actor. It's his job to act. That's what he does.

It seems that Shah Rukh wasn't here to collect his Datukship. Boo-hoo. That shows what he thinks of it. Now reports emerge that efforts are being made to contact Shah Rukh and bring him here to collect the Datukship and perhaps pose for a photo with the Chief Minister.

What is the meaning of this?!

He didn't come, so he doesn't want it. How are you going to bring him here? At gunpoint or on your knees, begging? The Datukship is being dishonoured, the value cheapened for the sake of a political stunt. Are we going to waste taxpayers money to send an entourage to Mumbai to persuade Shah Rukh to 'please, please, please, come'?

Come on la. Don't be so stupid. Why give him a Datukship in the first place? What has he done for Malaysia? This is a stupid act. If Shah Rukh deserves an award, let the Indian government award him one (they already did). Does Shah Rukh stay in Malaysia? No. So, why?

I don't understand this. I seriously don't. The Datukship is being thrown around like some sort of frisbee. Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob should realize that the Datukship is a precious award that has its own respect. No disrespect to Tun Mohd Khalil, but please, sir, reconsider the Shah Rukh Award.

I wonder what's next? Datuk Shah Rukh Khan running for UMNO presidency?

Our politics is already like a bad Bollywood movie. Hahahahahah.

Malaysiakini: Sammy the Moron

Yes, yes, yes, awhile since I last updated. Again, something forces me to write.

What is that?

MORON SAMMY BAMMY

MORON SAMMY BAMMY

Sammy Bammy is that. Who? A moron blogger who is in deep trouble for her moronic antics. Dear old Sammy is a Chinese who posted a virulent, racist and utterly uncivilized posting on her blog, Life is a Drama, attacking the Indians.

What she said?

After the backlash from her stupid posting, she took it down but being the moron she is, she forgot Google still caches pages. As such the page is still available. Just go to Google, search 'Life is a Drama blog', find the one about Indians, look at the small word that says 'cache' and click on it, hey presto, the page is there! To cut your effort, I have copy pasted the moron's posting below.

Indians are useless son of bitches!

I had the most numb experience today. I thought being sleepy and woozy was bad enough.

Wait till i tell you what happened during lunch in the office area today.

Some INDIAN teenager grabbed my phone (which was on the table, right beside my hand) and ran off.

Yes I KNOW. Despite what everyone said about not leaving your phone on the table, I did it.

How the heck to prevent? It's not like I can hold on to my phone while I'm eating. I'll definitely drop it if I put it on my lap. ANd i thought it would be safe enough on the table, very very near to me.

FARK.

I'm not trying to be racist but it's always INDIAN. It's INDIAN's fault.

I don't care if I'm sued for racism.

I HATE INDIANS. It's bad enough they are famous for being drunk and rude (most of them anyway). Now, they carry the reputation of being stealer, robbers, rapist, idiots, morons, drunk bastards, and the list goes on...

SUE ME you idiotic Indians. SUE ME, darn assholes.

Complained all you want on my blog and my chatbox. I promise I won't sensor any comments.
You come and complain if you dare. If you half-heartedly think it's true, then don't even bother suing me.

Because I know you Indians (the good ones) know it's true!

You Indians got no hands and legs to work and earn money is it? Stealing from other people is a happy thing and your source of income eh? Wait for the day of your fall and people will kick you on the roadside for stealing.

Note: Now i've to perform my usual ritual to curse that asshole who stole my phone to die on his way out from my office building. Get knocked down by a car and die beside my phone. Even better if I'm the one who knocked him down.

Ok, that was the moron's posting. Now, in the name of equal treatment, we have to be fair to all races and as such, please Sammy, allow me to rebut your moronic posting from your moronic mind.

1) You classify all Indians based on the actions of a few. You're a Chinese. Chinese were Communists in this country. Remember that? Are you a Communist then? Are all Chinese Communists then?

2) Look at the number of Chinese women arrested for prostitution, immigrated from China to come here and work as prostitutes, the infamous Kuaci Girls. Are you a prostitute then? Are all Chinese prostitutes then?

3) Look at the loan sharks in Malaysia, all are Chinese. Look at the problems they cause, they do all sorts of things, even murder, kidnap, rape, all for money. Are you a loan shark then? Are all Chinese heartless loan sharks then?

4) Look at the pirated VCDs and those who sell them in pasar malams and food courts and shops. They are Chinese. They rip off people, profiting from others, stealing intellectual rights, copy rights. Are you a pirate then? Are all Chinese 'kaki ciplak' then?

5) Look at the arrests for credit card fraud in Malaysia. Most are Chinese. Does this mean you're a lying, scumbag, cheating, fraud bitch yourself? Does this mean all Chinese are frauds?

Botak Chin was Chinese. Does this mean you're a criminal? Does this mean all Chinese are criminals? Money laundering, scratch and win, Swiss Cash, I can go on and on. Sammy, you pathetic moron (I wonder if she was sexually abused when she was a kid, probably would explain the mental imbalance) who lives under a coconut shell, please don't judge all by a few. If your concept applies, the Chinese in Malaysia should have been killed a long time ago. NEVER EVER JUDGE ALL BY THE ACTIONS OF A FEW. If you do so, you're a moron. You are simply a racist bitch who uses an excuse to air your rant like a moron. (Have I mentioned you're a moron?)

I don't support ISA and so I will not ask for it to be used against you. I do however, would like to see action taken against you. Come on, you bravely asked people to sue you right? You don't care right? (If you had a brain, you would care)

Sammy, Sammy, Sammy, you ignorant moron.

By now, the Indians you insulted would be planning their revenge on you. Your photo is in your blog. Don't you see what you caused yourself? The Indians would be prowling, looking for you. When they get their hands on you, I'd sure hate to be you. I wonder what it would be? Hahahaha... Vigilante justice usually never brings results. That is usually-lah. (Look at her photo, she does look like the Chinese prostitutes we usually see caught in the news)

I'm hearing rumors of people wanting to sue you. Any lawyer who is well versed in cyber law would tell you that you are screwed. Actually, you screwed yourself. Don't worry Sammy, if no one sues you, I will. You did issue an open challenge, right?

You are a mindless, insulting, racist bitch who deserves whatever is coming to you, via the police or via our friendly neighborhood Indians. If anything should happen to you, I would not be surprised nor would I feel any pity for you. I hope you get knocked down by a car. (A garbage truck would be more appropriate, then can just dump you in the back of the truck)

You're the most single minded, absolutely stupid and moronic bitch I've seen. A single cell organism would have more IQ than you, you moron. If you have any sense of decency, you will go to the nearest bridge and jump off it into the river. (One less moron in the world) You are an epitome of stupidity, an icon of idiocy.

Are you a pendatang haram or were you raised in Malaysia?

If you were raised in Malaysia, you would respect the other races. In your blog, you kutuk not only the Indians, but also the Malays and the Indons. Why leave out the Chinese? Is your own race so perfect? I don't want to delve into that because I am not you. Please do not drag me down to your level. I don't know which hole you crawled out of from, you pathetic ugly bitch. Your English itself is like a Third World refugee English.

MORON SAMMY BAMMY
MORON SAMMY BAMMY

Bye Bye Sammy. I hope you rot in the deepest pits of hell for all eternity. Have a nice day, bitch.

Malaysiakini: Kamunting, woof woof?

I've been busy with work so I've been out of the blogosphere for a while. You know, there's a funny thing. Everytime I get snowed under, something happens that just begs me to blog about it.

Okay, a lot of things have happened. Teresa Kok has been released and of course, the issue now is about the infamous 'dog food' comment where Teresa said the food served to her was just 'a little bit better than dog food'

Now, Teresa, I blogged in your support when you were detained but I just have to say this. You were detained under the ISA, Internal Security Act, the law used against communists, terrorists and people who piss off Mahathir.

What were you expecting? Kobe Beef Steak with Barbecue Sauce? Perhaps accompanied by a glass of Dom Perignon Champagne?

I laughed out loud when Teresa made that dog food comment on TV. Come on la. You can't complain about the food when you are in the ISA. ISA is not international gourmet festival. It's prison. Perhaps, with your status as MP, you were expecting something..well... something more but they burst your bubble with the boiled eggs.

Look, it may not be physical torture as the quality of the food is merely psychological torture. That's how the system works. In fact, a friend of mine in Thailand said Teresa was lucky to get eggs because in Thailand, sometimes all the hardcore prisoners get is stale bread and a little bit of water.

That's beside the issue. It is prison. Prison is supposed to punish. It is not punishment when you are served six meals a day. Prison is mean to be a deterrent, an harrowing experience that makes you think twice before you stick up the cashier at the 7-Eleven.

Face it. Prison is tough. It is supposed to be tough. Prison food is bad. It is supposed to be bad.

In my opinion, Teresa should not complain about the food quality. Challenge the grounds on which you were detained first. Why were you there in the first place? Who put you there? The balding, shiny headed Home Minister. ( Again, please, seriously consider a wig, we're getting too much glare)

You know, I know Kamunting in and out. I've passed the ISA detention God knows how many times. Kamunting is a nice little place, actually. And to think RPK is gonna spend 2 years (maybe more) there.

Mind you, Teresa, Pete has to eat the 'slightly better than dog food' for two years.

Anyhow, Pete's detention is unjust. To say he insulted Islam is to say Samy Vellu is a clean politician who has the people at heart. Pete tried to drum some common sense but unfortunately, some people's skulls are just too thick. I have to say if and when Anwar comes to power, the first thing he needs to do is release Pete and put a certain 83 year old retired politician who can't keep is mouth shut for five minutes without commenting on the nation's wellbeing in there. There, national security achieved, the 'pengacau daun' is locked up.

The only threat to national security are the politicians themselves. They needlessly complicate even the most simplest thing, which is stupid to say the least. I have an idea, instead of jailing bloggers, why don't we empty the Kamunting camp and fill them up with the politicians? I can guarantee you the nation would be much more peaceful when all the politicians are safely quarantined behind lock and key.

Try to imagine Malaysia without the politicians making a mockery of themselves. Try to imagine Malaysia without a bunch of pot bellied, balding and money grabbing politicians at the helm. Try to imagine a Malaysia without the politicians whose brain have been replaced with dollars and ringgits.

Truth is, Malaysia would be a heaven on earth.

Unfortunately for 51 years, politics have complicated this nation and the the truth is, Malaysia is kind of like Kamunting detention camp itself. Everything is isolated and secured behind lock and key. Bloggers tap the wrong key on the keyboard, send them to ISA! ISA this, ISA that.. Haihhh... Kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga. Understand? Because of the politicians, our nation has a bad reputation.

We have a great country. What we don't have is great politicians because politics on whole is like the sewerage system. It is the same everywhere. Politicians complicate, twist and ruin everything to suit their needs and their needs alone.

Understand that and you will understand what I am trying to say.

Malaysiakini: Of Morons and Idiots

I haven't updated my blog in a while, because with everything that is going on, everyone has blogged about the ISA arrests of RPK, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok and Sin Chew reporter Tan Hoon Cheng.

Of course, a heck of a lot of whiplash has resulted, culminating today with De Facto Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim tendering his resignation. (Which has to be applauded, the man has balls)

Now, Pak Lah and Najib, the Mr. DPM-agrees-to-power-transition-plan- like-it-is-their-grandfather's-property are holed up in a meeting. Pak Lah, knuckles white from gripping the seat but still sleepy as always, is allegedly asking whether Najib is intending to honour or use the excuse thathe'll follow what the delegates want and challenge the sleepy ol' Prime Minister for the numero uno post in UMNO.

Look, I don't want to be arrested under the ISA. (I'm not a politician, I don't need the publicity.) Anyhow, the point I want to make is the Pak Lah and Najib are acting awfully like Borat. I mean so narrow is their thinking that they can just 'handover', handpick successors for the nation's top leadership post. Excuse me, Pak Lah and Najib, unless you have a geran tanah that puts your names as the owners of Semenanjung Malaysia and Sabah/Sarawak, you have no right in just passing the chair to someone you fancy. In case you have forgotten, there are millions of other Malaysians who have a right to actually choose the leader they want to lead the country. We don't want your choice stuffed down our throats.

This I'll-handpick- and-put-him-on-the-seat attitude is disgusting. The Prime Ministership is being bandied about as if it is some personal toy. The post of Prime Minister is being passed around like some 'harta keturunan'. Surely the balding Santa Claus lookalike YAB Najib is not the only one qualified for the post? Don't tell me UMNO, with its millions of members, keris wielding leaders and 'Chinese are squatters' remarking leaders do not have another qualified leader to helm the party/country? Or are UMNO members stupid enough to accept a choice forced down their throats?

I want to ask the UMNO members. Not the bogus Datuks and the real Datuks making a nuisance of themselves, but the common Pak Cik and Mak Cik on the street. What do you know about Najib? What makes you think he can be a good PM? What has Najib done for you to warrant your confidence in him? (Anyone noticed Najib's nose looks like Rudolph the reindeer's?)

On another point, I read alleged reports that Ku Li (Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah) is running for the President post (again). Interestingly, rumours abound that Tun Dr.M (one time political arch nemesis and now just a 82 year old retired old man who can't seem to keep quiet) is backing Ku-Li!

Astonishing!

One would do good to remember the bad blood between the two. The two of them feuded so bitterly that they even tore UMNO into two pieces (UMNO Baru and Semangat 46) . And now, the pot has joined the kettle.

I have no grudge against Ku-Li. He is a very able leader, as he demonstrated in his term as Finance Minister and also in vastly improving UMNO treasury. However, I have to say this, please don't take this the wrong way, but I just have to say this.

SUDAH LA...

Your time has passed (this especially applies to the retired old man also) . This nation is at the throes of a new beginning, a new era. You are leaders of the past and you should remain in the past. The past and the present are very different, as different as Samy Vellu and Tun Dr.M. The thing now is that there are a lot of problems facing this nation and we need fresh blood that can reinvigorate the nation, rejuvenate the country. We don't want the same old tired faces anymore. Wait, I think I'm using too complicated words for an old mind to understand. I'll make it simple.

WE-WANT-CHANGE.

Understand? Faham? Comprende?

Hey, any of you see the pattern? Tun Dr.M, when he was the hellbent, tyrannical, iron fisted and still could tell the difference between an apple and a grenade, (back in the good old days), was constantly criticized by the Tunku. (Remember?) Ultimately, after his two decades of ruling the country like it belongs to him, Dr.M handpicked Pak Lah to succeed him. The retirement vacation didn't last long did it?

For some reason known only to the workings of his 83 year old mind, Tun attacked Pak Lah on a variety of issues, sparked by the 'crooked bridge issue' (Bet you remember that).

So, history always teaches us what happened in the past so we don't make the same mistake twice. Now, Pak Lah the sleepyhead, handpicks Najib, who is entangled in more accusations and allegations than a deep sea fishing net caught in seaweed. This doesn't bode too well for Najib does it? Who knows? When Najib becomes PM as handed down by Pak Lah, he might suddenly find one day Pak Lah marching into Putrajaya to shout at him 'for ruining the country'. Or he might exit UMNO in a huff, causing a split, then later rejoining to back a rival. He might also say that Najib was never his first choice and that his first choice was the Oxford educated (yeah, right) Khairy, who probably by then would be the DPM.

Then the whole cycle would start again with Khairy attacking Najib, who would try to broker a transition deal but Khairy would probably say he'll leave it to the delegates.

Of course, Najib can go the Dr.M's I-am-God-of-Malaysia way and arrest his Deputy under charges of sodomy, thus consolidating his power for the next 22 years.

Come on la.

What to call them? Idiots? Morons?

Syed Hamid, Home Minister who said they took the reporter under ISA after threats were made to her life, to protect her. I am neither an idiot or a moron because only an idiot or a moron would believe you and your shiny balding pate. ( One word, WIG)

Muhyiddin, the man I believe is being manipulated to raise issues to force Pak Lah to step down. Doubtless, UMNO has more talam dua muka within than from outside. UMNO is being torn from the inside and Muhyiddin is a prime example.

Tun Dr.M, with all due respect, please, please, please, learn to keep your opinions to yourself. You ran this country for 22 years and look where we are now. This is not your private property for you to keep forcing your views. Your time has passed and now let Pak Lah, as the Prime Minister of the day to run this country. If he sucks at it, then he's a moron. Why do you bother?

Pak Lah, listen to me. Stop sleeping, you drowsy politician. You need to cut the cancer off before it kills you. If I were you, I would swiftly mutilate the cabinet. If my DPM is like this, I would drop him. If my Ministers questioned me, I would drop him also. Do not fear for fear would lead to your downfall. Learn something from your enemies. Look at what Dr.M did to stay in power. Stop acting like a sissy in Chow Kit and start acting like Prime Minister in charge.

Look people, ISA was meant to deal with the Communists. Do you see any AK-47 carrying communists running around blowing up railway lines? I don't. For crying out loud, even the Soviet Union no longer exists. You start using ISA on common people then you are no better than the merciless communists themselves. Media should never be muzzled because they are not your pet dogs to be muzzled and tied to a leash.

Mahathir always speaks of without fear or favor (He can talk like that, he was the taikor of this country) but there is always fear. So long as the ISA is abused, there can be no true freedom. You talk about this being a democratic country, I say this is ISA country. You talk about freedom and equality, I say this nonsense.

All I see is a bunch of idiots and morons fighting for power.

Malaysiakini: Pack your toothbrush, it's gonna be a while

Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming.

Raja Petra Kamaruddin has been arrested earlier under the ISA.

Of course, even Pete himself saw it coming.

This is a sign, this arrest is a warning. I myself think that this arrest is a prelude to much bigger things to come. Of course, this is expected of course. BN, especially UMNO is desperate now and desperate people resort to desperate measures.

I wonder if the BN/UMNO realizes that it is playing directly into Anwar's hands? Arresting Pete has caused a major outrage in the cyber community. Bloggers and pretty much the pak ciks surfing for news and porn are miffed at this development. This move, the arrest of Pete is sure to bring more discontent and make the government even less popular. People will view the arrest as a evil desperate act to muzzle the noble whistle blower Pete who continuously had aired the government's dirty laundry in public.

Sure, they say Pete insulted Islam. Sure, they say Pete's articles were seditious.

If that is true, then my neighbor is actually an alien from Mars.

There is something called freedom of speech. What Pete said/wrote is covered by this fundamental right. Right now, if you arrest and jail every disgruntled blogger under the ISA, 3/4 of Malaysia would be in Kamunting. That is the truth, the true level of discontent. Do they think by arresting Pete, Anwar would back off? Or would they arrest Anwar again, this time under the ISA as a 'danger to national security'? Come on la, you can't arrest every Abu, Ah Chong and Maniam...

The government wants to thwart Anwar. It is as simple as that. To ensure its own political survival, Anwar must be stopped. The arrest of RPK is the start of that damage control.

All RPK did was speak out.

There are those who wishes for us not to speak. Why? Because while truncheons may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words are the means to meaning and to those who listen, the enunciation of truth and the truth is there is something wrong with this country.

We must speak and think as we see fit but now the shadow of the ISA and the Sedition Act looms over ever poor soul that sees fit to speak and think as they see fit.

How did this happen? Who is to blame?

Truth be told, if you need to look at the guilty, you need to just look into a mirror. The masses who voted for BN, I know why you did it. I know you are afraid. Who wouldn't be? May 13 repeating again? Kampung Medan repeating again? Special rights taken away? Chaos and conflict reigning?

Many reasons corrupted your reasoning and robbed you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you and in your panic, you turned to BN. BN promised you stability, order and peace. All they demanded in return was silent obedient consent.

Fairness, freedom and justice are more than words. They are perspectives. If you don't see the direction we are heading to, then I suggest you keep on 'pangkah BN'. However, if you see as I see, if you hear as I hear, if you feel as I feel and if you seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside RPK, stand beside us, those who seek liberty and equality, those who seek freedom and fairness and together, we shall fight the fear that is being brought onto us and ultimately, prevail in the name of freedom and democracy.

Fear is what is being used against us. Fear of the ISA, fear of the Sedition Act, fear of another May 13, fear of another Kampung Medan, fear of racial riots, fear of our rights being stripped, fear of us being marginalized in our own country. Using this fear, capitalizing on our fear, there had been a total hegemonic power monopoly that profits but a few.

In the name of freedom and democracy, let us stand together to face this storm!

LIBERTY AND EQUALITY,
FREEDOM AND FAIRNESS,
MALAYSIA,
NOW AND FOREVER!

Godspeed,Pete.. Our prayers are with you

Malaysiakini: Parliament Building to be moved to Taiwan?

I picked up today's copy of the Star and the picture that greeted me on the front page is that of the first batch of the Barisan Backbenchers happily (desperately?) packing their bags and going on their 'study' trip to Taiwan.

I don't get it.

What are they going to 'study' in Taiwan? Biology? Chemistry? Physics? Additional Mathematics? Modern Mathematics? English? Geography? Pendidikan Moral? (They need to learn that one)

Ini buat lawatan sambil belajar ni pakai duit siapa? Duit sendiri? Kalau duit sendiri tak apa la. Tapi, I think this whole lawatan sambi belajar is funded by us, the taxpayers. Ini tiba-tiba nak buat rombongan pergi Taiwan ini apa hal? Tergopoh-gapah nak keluar negara apa hal?

Snap out of it la. You are not six year old kindergarten students to go on a study trip. (Judging from their behavior during debates, they might as well be in a kindergarten.) You are not school students to go on a study trip. They are Malaysian MPs, elected by Malaysians to deal with Malaysian problems in Malaysia. Is there Taiwan in there? No! All the problems are in Malaysia. Stay in Malaysia and deal with the problem instead of running away to Taiwan like a common criminal jumping bail.

I wonder what are they going to study there? Probably this, (See video below)

Nak ambil tips bergaduh from Taiwan Parliament? Hilarious! Pandikar Amin might want to be careful, the MPs might come back with new kung fu skills.

Next thing you know, they will move the Parliament Building to Taiwan. Hilarious!

Anyhow, let's leave the issue of the fleeing MPs aside. Let us come back to the issue of the A.I. No, no, not Artificial Intelligence (because lacking any sense of Intenlligence), but Ahmad Ismail, the UMNO Bukit Bendera Chief who has been hogging the limelight longer than Paula Abdul on American Idol.

Ok, so maybe he needs to lose some weight and see a dentist about those buck teeth and probably needs to see a dermatologist about his pockmarked face and his Donald Trump style hair is ridiculous looking.

Anyhow, again, Mr. Chinese-are-pendatang-but-the-reporters-misquoted-me
is back in the news again after that astonishing press conference where he ripped into Koh Tsu Koon, calling him a 'great actor'. (No, Koh Tsu Koon has never won an Oscar, not yet)

Now, let's see. This time, he does another press conference but this time, his supporters literally rips Koh Tsu Koon apart. Well, ok, a photo of Koh Tsu Koon but still, it's a humiliating slap in the face. The Indians call this 'Serppu Aadi' or in English, like slapped with a flip-flop (slipper around here).

This is where our favorite UMNO ultra says Gerakan should get out of Barisan, an insultingly humiliating remark for Gerakan. Of course, if Gerakan has any sense of dignity (I don't think so, since they are politicians) they should get out of Barisan instead of sticking around like a loyal Lassie.

Obviously, since the real Koh Tsu Koon was not present, A.I's loyally rabid followers spotted the picture of Koh Tsu Koon, back when his head was full of hair. Of course, they didn't like that photo being there.

So here, one pak cik, breaks the photo frame and the glass and takes out the photo, obviously taken when Koh Tsu Koon was much younger. Look, he still has a smile in the photo. Pity he doesn't know what's coming next...

Drums roll, please! The grand finale! The Pak Cik displays an uncanny resemblance to the Incredible Hulk as he hulks out and summoning superhuman strength, rips the photo of Koh Tsu Koon (still smiling in the photo as it is being torn to shreds). You'd half expect the Pak Cik to beat his chest like Tarzan. Hmmm... If the Pak Cik's skin was green, he would look exactly like an anorexic Incredible Hulk!

What's next? Koh Tsu Koon biting and tearing a picture of Samy Vellu?

And these people are supposed to be our leaders..... I'm rolling on the floor laughing....

Malaysiakini: Two Malays and an Indian

I've been under the weather for a while now and quite busy with so many things on my hand. However, even then, I still have time to read the papers and my, my, things in Malaysia are surely becoming bitchy.

First and foremost, a Malay UMNO Bukit Bendera, Ahmad Ismail (A.I) and his 'pendatang' remark. My, how this issue has exploded. First his disappearance, then Pak Lah telling 'I'll tell him no to do it again', then Najib publicly apologizing for A.I's remarks and on behalf of UMNO, to A.I's press conference yesterday where he flatly refused to apologize.

Here, another Malay, a blast from the past, wades in, Tun Dr.M, the guy who does not seem to realize he has already retired (Perhaps old age contributes to amnesia?). At 83 years old, when most of his age would already be in a coffin six feet under, the former Prime Minister thinks he is still the Prime Minister and thus needs to comment on ever issue affecting Malaysia every 3 seconds. Perhaps due to old age and declining mental faculties, he does not realize the meaning of the word 'former'.

Anyway, the jolly old Dr.M gives his ever flowing comments from his never wrong, know it all 83 year old mind. He said that A.I does not need to apologize, in fact ex-Prime Minister asked why must Malay leaders say sorry. Of course, the old man thought this was still the time when he reigned supreme over the land, where once his word was the law.

The old man didn't expect the backlash from the blogosphere and the Internet over his comments. People expressed disgust at him (once an offence punishable by ISA) and called him a racist and even questioned Dr.M (once, you could have been hauled up in court and charged with sodomy for that)

Of course, once his mind came back to 2008, he realized the mistake and backtracked, saying that he was not defending A.I and he didn't like what Ahmad had said. He explained he was merely expressing disgust at the Malay leaders' s inability to control racism and the culprit should be hauled up to the UMNO Disciplinary Committee if he refused to apologize. (Where I'm guessing he'd probably be awarded with a keris and celebrated with a kenduri)

Yeah, right......

Is this a case of one Ultra defending another Ultra?

There is an interesting parallel. Remember what Mahathir said about George Soros, the Jewish American investor/financier, whom Mahathir blamed for the Asian Economic Crisis? Remember how he ranted and raved against Soros? He blasted Soros, accusing him of this and that and maintaining that Soros was to blame. Look at the picture below, funny how old age affects your mind doesn't it?

You know, a lot of accusations has been hurled at Anwar that he has the support of the US and he was going to 'sell' the nation to the US after he becomes PM. Much has also been bandied about that Anwar was close to Wolfowitz and many Jews.

Now, look at the picture above. That is Dr.M and the man supposedly responsible for the Asian Economic Crisis of 1997, George Soros. Look at the picture... Awwwww... Doesn't Dr.M look so happy?

Remember that Dr.M once said in a speech that 'the Jews rule the world by proxy'? If Dr.M's 83 year old mind has forgotten, George Soros is Jewish, he is a Jew. So, Dr.M is shaking the hand of a Jew, taking into consideration his own speech, does this mean he is also a proxy of the Jews?

Hilarious!

Anyhow, we passed the two Malays and now we come to the Indian in question. No good story would be complete without a Tamil film villain. Who is he? Probably the most famous Indian ever in Malaysia. A man dubbed 'The Lord of the Indians', he is none other that Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.

Of course, the former Works Minister and the still reigning MIC supremo has been out of the news a while after his thumping and utterly humiliating defeat in the last general elections, where, even for his considerably bloated girth, he too was uprooted by the political tsunami.

Why is he in the news?

Malaysia today had an article on it, 'How Samy made 50 million with a stroke of a pen'. Of course, for us common folk who have to languish and work hard just for RM 50, we thought this was a heartfelt public tip provided by Samy Vellu on how to increase our income in face of tough times.

Turns out it was a report on how Samy allegedly bought a state owned land for RM 3.8million. The problem was the land was worth RM 52 million, not to mention it was slated for a school. Bought under the MIC's name, Samy was named as the beneficiary on the title and the MIC as only trustee. Don't take my word for it, look at the documents.

~~Sigh~~

Where is our nation heading to? Into the pockets of our politicians?

One wonders what is Pak Lah doing... I think the picture below sums it all up...

And people say Bush is the bad guy....

Malaysiakini: Lim Kit Siang exposes BTN racism

I was trudging through my daily list of blogs, checking the news and the happenings when I happened to read Lim Kit Siang's blog, about the racism of the BTN indoctrination.

Lim Kit Siang's blog

Of course, since Najib is in the business to make apologies for other people, why doesn't he make one for this?

The crux of the matter is this, a parent wrote in to Kit Siang and complained about the process the JPA scholarship students go through, the indoctrination process.

1:
As part of the course, which is mandatory before they are sent overseas, all non-Malays are segrgated and given lectures on the history of the country and how the immigration of the Chinese and Indians had taken place. And finally how the Chinese and Indians were given citizenship. The Malays too had their own similar sessions.

2: The instructors blatantly told them that they should not question the rights and privileges of the Malays as the non-Malays should be thankful that they were given citizenship status and a place to stay on their soil.

okay, now, please excuse me but bad words are about to be used. So skip the next part if you don't like bad language.

What the fuck hell kind of fucking attitude is that? What kind of motherfucking moronic, idiotic, imbecilic son of a bitch bastard says that? Who the fuck hell do these people think they fucking are?

~~SIGH~~

Now that I got that off my chest, let's continue as politely as we can.

No one can claim solely this is my land, just as no one can claim solely this is my water, my air. The Chinese built up the economy of this country(mining, trading, etc, etc) just as the Indians built up the infrastructure of this country by sweat and toil (Roads, railroads etc, etc.)

We are thankful that we have citizenship and a place to stay but please be reminded that this is NOT your land. This land belongs to the Orang Asli, who through systematic marginalization and oppression, have been kept illiterate and in the jungle. This is not a surprise. Even the US does not belong to Bush and family. It belongs to the Red Indians, the original inhabitants, who were systematically eradicated and oppressed.vIf the Chinese and Indians are immigrants, then so are the Malays. This land belongs to all, not only one single race.

Don't question Malay rights? And what rights are that? What have they done to deserve such a right? Can they not live without the government spoonfeeding them? Are they premature babies who need a looking after every 3 minutes? Are they moronically incapable that they need everything to be put on a platter for them? I have Malay friends. I know they are not stupid.

The Malays at large have been accustomed to being treated special, treated with a velvet glove. They have become addicted to the special rights and privileges. This is how BN and UMNO have been in power for so long. They scare the Malays by saying that if the Opposition takes over, all their so called rights and privileges would be taken away. And just like a baby whose pacifier is taken away, the Malays react so predictably.

I want to say this. RACISM SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED. UMNO OR BN OR PAKATAN OR PKR. Anyone who tolerates racism is a racist.

Look at Zulkifli Nordin (PKR), and his attempt to storm the Bar Council.

We Muslims have been tolerant enough all this while… so many years we have been forced to live under law that is not Islam. It is time for the Muslims to speak up and I would take the lead for the Muslims to speak up,’

- Malaysiakini report on 18th August.

51 years of independence, and this where our mentality is??

In fact in one of the videos, our jolly old Zul is said to have uttered the Sabah and Sarawakians speak 'Bahasa Tarzan'. What an insult!! Filthy, rude, crude and uncivilized! What is Anwar, who preaches equality for all is going to do about this?! Is that merely campaign rethoric? Come on, Anwar, your own rank is talking like he belongs in UMNO! Your own man talks as if he is about to raise the keris and shout ketuanan melayu! Why is there no action taken against him? If you tolerate racism, then you are a racist!

What is going on? 51 years of independence and we are not going forward an inch. If anything, we are on a downward spiral to racial disharmony. 51 years and we ae now worse than we were before!

~~SIGH~~

The never ending tale of HINDRAF/MIC..

Cats and dogs.

Snake and mongoose.

So many words can be used to describe HINDRAF and the MIC saga. It is undeniable that HINDRAF is the impetus for change, the cause of the makkal sakthi wave that caused the March 8 political tsunami. It is undeniable that HINDRAF's endorsement of PR contributed significantly to PR's success.

Now, the thing is, people are beginning to tire of this. I mean not MIC, because MIC has long been hated and shunned but also of HINDRAF.

Waythamoorthy released an open letter posted on the HINDRAF website. He allegedly accused Vasanthakumar, one of the HINDRAF 5 in ISA, as a Special Branch plant, planted to disrupt and bring down HINDRAF.

Before we o any further, I have to say this. Tactically, from a military strategy point of view, it is very plausible. The FBI, the CIA and almost every intelligence.counter intelligence agency has perfected the art of 'agent provocateur' to a science. It is an effective and oft used tactic when dealling with 'problematic elements'. The French Intelligence planted agent provocateurs in the Greenpeace when Greenpeace started protesting French Nuclear testing. Cases and examples of agent provocateurs go back long way in time to the times of the Romans.

So, certain people defended Vasanthakumar, notably his wife, who said when Waythamoorthy wanted to stop the HINDRAF rally in KL on November 25th, Vasanthakumar insisted they continue. His wife further claimed this was the cause of bad blood between them and she accused Waythamoorthy of chickening out.

If this statement is true, then Waythamoorthy wanted to stop the rally. Vasanthakumar insisted they continue and so they did. Analyze the action and result. Because they did, the HINDRAF leaders are now in prison. If they had not continued, they would not be in prison.

I mentioned agent provocateur before. Do you know what this means?

It is French word, translated it means 'agent who provokes'.

Again, we see the situation. Waythamoorthy dissented, did not want to proceed with the rally, thus depriving the government of a reason to arrest them. However, Vasanthakumar insisted they proceed, thus giving the government a reason to arrest them.

See what I mean?

Is he a Special Branch plant? We might never know for sure but some clues are there.

Anyhow, I want to say this. It is high time, instead of whining, tough talking and backbiting, MIC and HINDRAF should work together to find a solution to the problems faced by the Indian community. The Indian community is sick and tired, they have been sick and tired for many years now. MIC with their shady MAIKA deals, SILF issue and so on. People want an end. People want a solution, not continuous fighting and accusing.

Personally, I despise MIC. I hate MIC. MIC is rotten to its core. MIC are not the Malaysian Indian Congress, they are the Malaysian Indian Crooks. I must say to those who MIC sympatizers and supporters, I hate you too. However, I will not let my emotions cloud my judgments and thus I will let MIC's track records speak for itself. MIC's track record shows that MIC is not supposed to be trusted with a single sen, much less helping the Indian community.

Although, I have to say, judging by the looks of it, MIC/HINDRAF issue is not going to end anytime soon.

Malaysiakini: Chinese are Pendatang?

Ahmad didn't mean it, says Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Mean what?

Well, well, well, word is that Datuk Ahmad Ismail, Bukit Bendera UMNO division chief, made some pretty racist remarks about the Chinese community, allegedly in the presence of the DPM, Najib.

What did he say?

Well, Ahmad called the Chinese 'pendatang' (immigrants) and said 'The Chinese were only immigrants and thus it was impossible to achieve equal rights among races'.

He really said that?

Don't take my word for it. It's all over the Chinese papers and also The Star.

AHMAD DIDN'T MEAN IT, SAYS ABDULLAH.

Now, what is Badawi's reaction? The supposed Prime Minister for all?

Well, he's saying:

“I will tell him not to do it again. You know in a campaign all sorts of things can come up. I don’t think he meant it. I’ll make sure to tell him not to use it again,” the Prime Minister said after chairing the Bertam Umno division meeting yesterday.

That's a quote from The Star article.

How dare, how dare he pacify us by brushing us aside? 'You know in a campaign all sorts of things can come up'. What the hell kind of a statement is that?! Just because it was campaign, it can be allowed? So anyone can say anything during a campaign?

Are you a moron? Have you lost your mind? Or is this the real you?

What kid of a leader who claims himself to be the prime minister for all but tolerates blatant nonsensical racism?? Come on, I bet if anyone else had made that comments, substituting the Malays for the Chinese, I'm sure that person would be under the Sedition Act or the ISA faster than Saiful can swear on a Quran.

This is racism that reveals the true mindset of these supposed leaders. Has anyone read the Auditor General report? They talk of austerity but so much losses and blatant corruption!

Let's prioritize the problem.

1) Ismail made a racist comment.

2) Ismail uttered words that are harmful to the racial harmony.

3)Why isn't any action taken against Ismail?

4) Why is the Prime Minister shielding Ismail?

How simple can it get? He made a racist comment. Arrest him and charge him. Is it so hard? You can go to all the trouble to shut down Malaysia-Today and do this, do that, say this, say that. Don't tell me the police cannot arrest him? Don't tell me 'ala, masa kempen aje... biar aje la..'

I challenge the Chinese to respond, if they have maruah diri or maruah bangsa. Will you respond? Or will you take the insult? How the Chinese community responds will show their true character. Whether MCA/Gerakan are just UMNO lapdogs or they truly stand for the Chinese community.

Malaysiakini: Bla, Bla, Bla....

I have to say SKMM's move of blocking Malaysia Today is futile to say the least, since there is a new address for people to visit and for Pete to post his politician ball shrinking reports.

Now, now, now, Anwar is already in Parliament. Now, Anwar did say that once he steps in Parliament, MPs will be jumping towards him like frogs. However, Anwar is in Parliament and well, not one has jumped or even crouched to jump.

I mean the only clue would be Sepanggar MP who was the lone voice of dissent among the BN for the DNA Bill. However, BN is behaving exactly as Anwar predicted, they are playing into his hands. Shafie Apdal asked Sabah MPs to sign a pledge of allegiance to the BN and the Sabah MPs were affronted. Anifah Aman said it was an insult to Sabah MPs.

This is how Anwar is playing it, his inside knowledge of UMNO and BN is paying off. He is steering the Sabah MPs and the BN towards a collision course, stoking the fight and then when the time is right he'll jump in and say Sabah MPs are welcome to join him and he won't doubt their loyalty and he will bring development to Sabah. You have to admit, Anwar is a superb political tactician.

Does Anwar actually have 30 MPs to form the Federal Government? I think not but will he have the number soon by Sept 16? Based on what is happening, yes!

Come Sept 16, we may actually see this happening. Anwar is patient, we have seen that the way he dealt with the Saiful swearing issue, when at the last minute, he unveiled the imam who presided over the swearing, casting last minute irreparable damage on the BN. BN was confident it had derailed Anwar by intensely propagating the Saiful swearing issue. However, patient politician he is, he waited to the last minute to play the ace he held. One move and the entire issue was discredited. Bravo, bravo!

Well, well, well, we have to wait to Sept 16, shouldn't we?

But on all clues, Anwar is next PM.

Malaysia-Today blocked, does SKMM think it is God?

Yes, yes, yes, Malaysia-Today has been blocked by SKMM (Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia). Everyone is up in arms over the blocking of their favorite news portal, the only one that has balls to report anything and everything without fear and favor.

Malaysia-Today has, well, endeared itself to all Malaysians by revealing the other side of the coin, telling the untold story, rocking the political establishment that is more used to having the media kiss it's behind.

However, does RPK care? Does Pete, pictured below, worry about the blocking as a loss of spotlight or income or publicity? You know what I think? Pete doesn't give a hoot what I think.

Pete has turned from a news editor to an icon of sorts. Pete is exactly the type of people we need, the type of people every government and country need. RPK is an icon now, an icon of opposition, just like Anwar, just not reaching the same stratospheric icon status of Anwar, not yet that is.

You have to admit, Pete has balls. Not just biologically since he is a man but figuratively speaking. By his in your face reporting of controversy, we lap everything up. He has given the politicians and certain lawyers sleepless nights, something he also causes for the police and the judiciary. He doesn't pull any punches, reporting it as it is.

Sure, some of his reports may be far fetched or paranoid even, but it strikes a nerve with everyone who is fed up with the present government, which is practically everyone. Look at Anwar's victory in Permatang Pauh. His thumping victory there, with that flood of a majority, shows that even UMNO members in Permatang Pauh voted for him. There is no way Anwar would get that majority without BN members also having voted for him which seems to show that BN is rotting from within.

Of course, good ol' Pete had hand in this. Controversial revelations and allegations about the DPM, the murdered Mongolian, conspiracy accusation all played the part nicely, turning tides of people against BN.

I have to say, whether one chooses to believe or not to believe is irrelevant. It all boils down to a simple thing. Freedom.

You see, SKMM act to block Malaysia-Today is playing God in Cyberspace. Now that is wrong, that is really wrong. SKMM is not Cyberspace God, it is just made of fat balding men in suits. I mentioned freedom. Freedom is intertwined with everything here. Pete exercised his freedom of expression when he reported everything he wrote on Malaysia Today. SKMM has no right to act God and curtail one's freedom of expression. SKMM is acting like the Politburo of Soviet Union's Stalin.

Cyberspace is a realm where everyone is equal, where none is richer or better than anyone. In cyberspace, freedom is everything. Freedom to speak, write, or even watch porn. That is what makes the Internet unique.

There is no God in Cyberspace. There is no King and court of cyberspace. And no one should act as such.

The government pledged not to censure the Internet but they are going against their word now. Why? Because Pete's reporting is damaging to them? If you are so worried, why not you start your own cyberspace campaign? Or are you too dumb to even switch on the computer?

This is the start of a witch hunt. From Malaysia-Today, SKMM would then focus on 'anti-government' blogs and start shutting them down, citing this and that and nonsense in whole. They are lighting up their torches, sharpening their pitch forks and swarming on the cyberspace, and Pete and Malaysia Today is the first to be burnt at the stake. Ridiculous, this is showing how low the government will go down to to, this shows the government will not hesitate to play dirty and kick you in the balls. Absolutely shockingly stupidly ridiculous!

The citizens of cyberspace has freedom whether to believe in Pete or not. They have minds to think with. We can tell apart lies and truths. We can see for ourselves. Pete had put out his article, if it is a lie, you tell your version and your side. We have minds, we can tell who is lying and who is telling the truth. The move to close down Malaysia Today is no less politically motivated. A desperate act of a desperate government, crumbling, reeling.

SKMM are a bunch of morons. There, now close my blog!

Malaysiakini: Permatang Pauh: Where are we headed to?

Now, now, we are only two days away from the Permatang Pauh by-election. Election fever is at a high, emotions running high and literally, everything is at stake here.

Now, this can be perceived as Anwar vs Arif Shah. That is what it is on paper. However, the real battle is between Anwar and Badawi. Pakatan Rakyat against Barisan Nasional. PKR against UMNO. The grand prize everyone is fighting for is Malaysia itself.

However, the soalan cepumas to be asked to everyone is, regardless of the outcome, where are we heading to? If Anwar wins, are we headed to a brighter future? If Arif Shah wins, victory for BN and UMNO and Badawi, where are we headed to?

A lot of questions roll around without anyone giving any meaningful answer. Firebrand ultra Khairy speaks of 'burying' Anwar and Najib swears he doesn't know murdered Mongolian Altantuya. In Perak, Tajol Rosli swears he has no hand in the ACA arrest of the 2 Perak Exco. Of course, Saiful (Or Sai-fool as some of my friends call him) swears on Al-Quran, in mosque that he was sodomized.

What is it with everyone and swearing?

Just because you swear, does that you mean you are innocent? If swearing on a Holy Book or for that matter, swearing guarantees your innocence, then why do we have courts and police for? The law and the judiciary is there for a reason and that reason is to assess and deliberate the innocence or guilt of an accused based on evidence of crime.

I mean, let me put to you this way. I can go rob a bank and afterwards call a press conference and swear on a Holy book that I was innocent. Does this mean I did not commit the bank robbery? Does this mean I am innocent? Does this mean that just because I am swearing on a Holy book, I must be telling the truth and therefore innocent?

It is sickening to see people manipulating religion for their own cause. Here, I have to applaud Anwar because he refuses to swear on the Al-Quran. He has surrendered the case to the courts, which is what everyone must do. He refuses to defile the Al-Quran by trivializing it and swearing on it.

I was at a mamak stall when Saiful swore on the Al-Quran. Beside me, an old Malay man wearing a baju melayu and a kopiah was sipping teh tarik. He laughed when he saw the news report. He turned to me and laughingly asked, "Apa? Kalau dia sumpah bohong, Al-Quran tu nak gigit dia?"
Which does make sense.

These people have no qualms about swearing. There is an old Tamil saying, "The King punishes today and God punishes tomorrow." Sure, people talk about being struck by lightning kalau sumpah bohong or something like that. The mamak stall waiter, upon looking at Saiful's swearing said, "I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he weill get hit by a garbage truck when he exits the mosque'.

How many people actually get struck by lightning or get hit by a garbage truck for making a false oath?

Come one la, be realistic. Swearing on the Al-Quran, or swearing in a mosque or swearing during a press confenrence, it's all a ploy to sway the masses. Sure, I can swear I'm a sinless person who had never drunk a drop of alcohol or taken a puff of cigarrette or never had sex but come on la....
This is where I want to say where our nation is heading to
If we can so easily be swayed by a swearing, what does that tell us of ourselves? I'll tell you. It shows the level of stupidity and gullible-ness we have. We have minds and we have intellect, we can think and we can reason, we can compare and we can judge. So why don't we use our minds and think??
Anyone can swear on anything. That doesn't make it true.
Instead of basing our belief on some guy who swears freely, why don't we look at the hard evidence? The hard evidence of Bala's S.D, Dr.Mohd Osman's medical report, Saiful's hospital jumping trip to HKL, the timing of the accusation, the timing of the pasing of the DNA bill, the stalemate the investigation has come to now Anwar refuses to give DNA samples even though his old DNA profile is on file from the previous fiasco, Najib and Syed Hamid Albar's need to comment every three minutes on an ongoing investigation and all sorts if things. The power play involved in this case alone should raise suspicions.

I don't know what to say. Anwar has a more populist approach and open market economic intiatives, which is what we need. Our inflation is at a 26 year high and our economy is in the ICU on life support. Corruption is high and rampant. We need a new direction and only a new leader can provide a new direction. BN has had 51 years to lead the country and look at where are we now? We are in this situation because of BN leadership, not because of Anwar or PKR or Pakatan Rakyat or George Soros or a conspiracy by the Jews.

Look, all I'm saying is that we have given BN 51 years of chance to rule. Would it be so bad to give Anwar a chance of a few years to prove himself? Aren't we sick of all the same parties, politicians and racial politics? We need to realize that we can live without BN and that BN is not invincible. Absolute power for BN over 51 years has corrupted it.

Everyone wants change for the better, the question is, are you brave enough to vote for change? Our future is in our own hands and we need a bright future because our present is as dark and gloomy as night.

Again, to the Permatang Pauh voters, be smart and vote smart. Be brave and vote for a better change.

Malaysiakini: ANWARPHOBIA?

I woke today to the news announced that Pak Lah and the BN government has reduced the fuel price at the pump. Fuel price has gone down 15 sen for the RON97 petrol and 8 sen for diesel.

I wonder, why the fuel prices were lowered 3 days before the Permatang Pauh by-election. Oh, sure, the LRT and Komuter loving Pak Lah can say govt always said fuel prices would be lowered according to market prices. However, any person with a brain could see that global fuel prices has been declining quite a while. Only now, the govt seen fit to lower the price, 'coincidentally' 3 days before the by-election.

Now, the thing is, I sense that the BN is like the Titanic. It is sinking but the crew (headed by Captain Pak Lah) refuses to abandon ship. Anwar has massive support in Permatang Pauh and of course, the recent revelation that Ariff Shah, his Sun Wukong Monkey God wanna-be opponent, enrolled in a Ph.D program from a fraud university offering degrees and doctorates for a fee, is sure to be damaging. Of course, the silver haired, pot bellied simian wanna-be says he dropped out afte realizing it was a fake university but come on, be realistic. Would you not check out the university beforehand before enrolling in a Ph.D course? Or was Ariff Shah too busy practising kung fu moves with the Monkey God's magical staff to realize he was signing up for a 'bought' Ph.D?

Yes, yes, politicians always seem to have an answer ready.

Anyhow, Pak Lah's recent LRT and Komuter joyride is being plastered all over the media, singing praises about the 'people-centric' leader who commutes with his fellow rakyat. People, come on la, think with your God-given brain la. Pak Lah only once rides a train and every lap dog is barking his praise. For crying out loud, Pak Lal gets chauffeured to work every day. He doesn't ride the LRT or Komuter every day. And look, he talks about it being sesak and packed but doesn't he realize what he's doing? He's bringing his own entourage of bodyguards, reporters and photographers. Because of him, the train become even more sesak. I wonder how many people missed the train because it was packed with his bodyguards?

If he was truly a people-centric man, he should travel on the LRT and Komuter like any normal people would do. He shouldn't bring a 'rombongan sambil belajar' of bodyguards and aides. Is he afraid of getting assassinated in the LRT? Is that why he brought an army of bodyguards? And is it a coincidence that his train jaunt comes just several days before the Permatang Pauh by-election? LRT and Komuter users have been suffering for years, lack of trains, late trains and all sorts of nonsense. If he didn't 'turun padang' in all those years, why now? Why three days before the by-election?

Come on la, do we look like 2 year olds with Marie biscuits in our mouths?

It is so easy to see why Pak Lah is doing this. It is so easy to see Ariff Shah talking in Mandarin and talking about being like Sun Wukong, the Monkey God. It is so easy to see why BN lowered the fuel prices.

Why?

It is a classic case of Anwarphobia.

You see, BN is afraid of Anwar. It is obvious. They know they going to get torpedoed by Anwar in the by-election and and they know once Anwar makes it into Parliament in one piece, there's going to be boatloads of MPs crossing over and allowing Anwar to seize power and become PM. They know that and they are doing whatever it takes to derail that. Anwar is not a 'sampan' to be sinked so easily, he is Nimitz-class nuclear powered aircraft carrier.

When would you see a BN/UMNO politician talking in Mandarin and talking about the Monkey God? Only during the elections, when they want to charm you for votes. Oh Gosh! It just seems so long ago that certain leaders in UMNO were talking about ketuanan melayu and raising the keris in a racist frenzy. I wonder if speaking Mandarin is part of Ketuanan Melayu. Koh Tsu Koon has said that Ariff Shah's brother was part of the company that caused the supposed RM 9 million loss to the Penang state govt in a shady land deal. Hmmmmm....

As a friend of mine said, 'They can lower the fuel prices 15 sen today, but mark my words, after election, they will raise the fuel prices 30 sen'. HAHAHAHAHA...

News is filtering in that a police report has been allegedly made against the Sabah CM, Musa Aman in a RM16 million smuggling scandal in Hong Kong, allegedly linking him and his foster brothers there. This will surely erode already eroded confidence in the Sabah state govt and cause more MPs to abandon ship.

Anyhow, I need to go sik fan. Malaysian politics is lowering blood glucose levels.

MALAYSIAKINI: NAJIB WANTS INDIANS AND CHINESE VOTERS TO BACK BN

Hmmmmm.... I took a break from the usual by-election fever and the feverish political pitch in our country to do some light reading. Actually, I was beginning to get disgusted at the state of our nation's politics so, I decided I had enough and for a break, I actually went on Lulu.com to search for a book to buy and read while isolating myself from the disgusting political sewer our nation had become.

However, I failed. You know why I failed?

I did find a book, a good book by Maddy Lewis, titled 'The Last Day In The Life Of Mickey Harrisson'. I chose it not only for it's catchy title, but because at 2.50, it was the cheapest. Of course, me being an enviromental nut, I ordered the book as an ebook to save countless trees that would have been cut down had I ordered the paperback version.

The thing is, it was a short story, about 40 pages but as I read it, I couldn't help but notice similiarities between the book and the state of our nation today. The book essentially deals with a young man named Mickey Harrisson, who gets into a gambling debt with gangster Edward 'Crazy Eddie Scissorhands' and has to pay up in 24 hours or die. Knowing he cannot pay even if he sold the clothes on his back, he decides to enjoy the last 24 hours of his life without care and caution, essentially, doing everything extreme and wild he had always wanted to do.

I say I see similiarities between the story and Malaysia because I have to say, the BN government in Malaysia is on shaky ground. Rumours swirl around that once Anwar wins the by-election and steps into Parliament, a horde of MPs will switch over and Anwar would become PM. So, like Mickey Harrisson, BN could be said to be living on borrowed time. How actually true the rumours are, we would have to wait and see.

Let's assume for the purpose of this article, the rumours are true and Anwar is one step away from Prime Ministership. So, BN, just like Mickey Harrisson is desperate. Desperate enough to do anything, just like old Mickey. Desperation is the name of the game and so everything goes.

While Mickey's first act of carefree freedom was to pull down his pants and flash his naked butt to the police, in the process causing a car crash, BN, in its desperation, has tried to reel in Anwar with the sodomy allegation. The thing is, by doing this, it has played into Anwar's hands and created massive sympathy support, like how Mickey caused the car crash.

Mickey's second act is getting revenge on the priest who molested him as a child, Father Pillman. Father Pillman is a supposedly righteous pillar of justice, on the outside, he is a solid citizen whose word is not to be doubted, a pious man of God. On the inside, he is a depraved paedophile, who preys on the young choir boys and altar boys. You know, BN is much like Father Pillman. They portray themselves as the sole saviors of the country but inside, they more rotten than anything on earth. Look at Penang, DAP takes over and finds so much corruption, land irregularities, shady business dealings. One transaction caused a loss ofRM9 million to the state government. I am eagerly anticipating the debate between Guan Eng and Koh Tsu Koon. Look at the Terengganu Mercedes controversy, the Perdana maintenance controversy, the Immigration DG corruption, the Tourism DG corruption, Altantuya case, the Bar Council Forum case, the UiTM quota case, the police drug theft, the police sodomy, the police corruption... I can go on and on and on but I need to breathe. ~~Sigh~~

Oh, you know what happened to Father Pillman? Hahahahaa... The end for him was brutal, bloody, cunning and humiliating. Don't wory, he didn't die.. He was taught a lesson he would never forget, nor anyone else. Read the book!

Next up, Mickey walks down the street and buys a newspaper and sees the news of a suicide terrorist in Israel. On an impulse, Mickey stops and sees he is in front of a mosque. He is struck by an idea, runs into a nearby hardware store, buys a can of spray paint and defaces the front wall of the mosque. You know what he wrote on the wall? He wrote 'Muslims and Jews both suck!' Hahahahahaha... Aren't we in Malaysia also sick of the religious segregation? I mean look at the Bar Council religious forum being gatecrashed by religious fanatics and hoodlums even with a major police presence. I wondered if the police were protecting the Bar Council or the protesters. I mean everything is so touchy-feely these days. There is no freedom of religion, you can't say or speak of anything remotely discussing religion. The usual threat is ISA and Sedition Act. What is going on??

Mickey's next move is exacting revenge on his pesky neighbour Marge and her cats. He does it nicely, and eventually poisons the cats and nails the most hated cat of the bunch to the wall. Now, this does sound familiar right? I mean people are saying that the sodomy allegation is intended to 'poison' Anwar's career and bid to become the next PM and come on, let's face it. Anwar is being crucified on government controlled TV channels. They criticize Anwar at every chance, and not one reporting is favourable. Syed Hamid had taken the chance to comment on the case at every turn and quite why the Minister, and in fact, the DPM, the PM and almost every BN member, would want to comment on an ongoing legal case is beyond my understanding.
Next is maybe a very disturbing act. Mickey, driving, sees a veiled Arabic woman, dressed in a burqa walking down the street. He stops his car, gets out and says 'i've always wanted to do this.' and immediately slaps the woman! A crowd gathers to watch as Mickey insults the woman, saying he is sick of her 'kind', calling her 'terrorist whore' and all sorts of things you have to read for yourself. Now, the crowd, instead of helping the woman, cheers Mickey and even give him a knife. He shreds the burqa, attacking the woman, fashioning a tube top and a short skirt. When the police comes, the crowd even helps Mickey escape, one of them punching a policeman and the other tripping the policeman. You see, Malaysia too is flooded with illegal immigrants, those pesky Bangladeshis, Indonesians, Myanmars, Nepalis, and all sorts. They flood our country, take away our jobs, income, contributing only in crime and all things negative. Why is there no action taken? Talks of huge roundup operations have been going on but nothing is being done. Why? While BN talks, the illegal immigrants are still at it. We, the Malaysian population, despise the illegal immigrants, just like the crowd in the story, but we can't do anything else but hate.

Next up, Mickey has sex with a transsexual in an alley, an unexpected and unplanned encounter. He walks down the alley and is propositioned by the tranny and Mickey goes along with it since he was going to die later that night and always wondered what sex with a tranny would be like. Now, here none of the BN might be sleeping with transsexuals. The similarity is that in our nation, BN is plunging in, pulling out all stops, to stop Anwar because it knows it is in its final death throes. They are resorting to dirty tricks never done on anyone else or by anyone else because it is so desperate, desperate knowing its time is near.

His last act is to get revenge on who put him into the situation the first place. Kathleen, Crazy Eddie's daughter. He knew the debt was a carefully executed plan so that Kathleen could have revenge on him for telling her off during a date. Mickey manages to get in and to cut a long story short, has his revenge on Kathleen, tying her and her stepmother up, going through her stuff and finding evidence of incestual sex between her stepmother and her and putting the video up on Youtube. Here, BN is like Kathleen. You see BN is executing a carefully laid but desperate plan of revenge but Anwar is going to pull through and when he becomes PM, there's gonna be plenty of evidence cropping up. You just wait.

There is a twist at the end. I have to admit, I didn't expect it and no one will. I don't want to spoil it for you guys, so I'll just say Mickey DOES NOT die. He meets someone, someone you would never have thought of and a meaningful conversation is struck as the person taks to Mickey, reminding him of everything he did that day, saying it was his choice all along. BN is like that, everything had been their choice. Our country this day is like this because of BN governance. No one else is the government. They caused our country like this, steered us into this bubble of segregation and separation. Their choice strategy of divide and rule leads us to hate our fellow citizens, while supporting our own race and religion. There is no unity because they chose to lead us that way. Everything had been their doing and so if you want change, you know what to do. And Najib has the balls to ask Indians and Chinese to vote for BN in P.Pauh..

Errr...Hmmmm....Sigh... Ummmmm.... Okay, okay, in the end, Mickey meets Satan. There, happy??? But he doesn't die.

Okay, I feel better after.. Anyhow, I don't do this usually but this is a good book that everyone needs to read. You can get it at lulu.com. Just click the button below.
